Exploring My Skinny Tan Collection

Exploring My Skinny Tan Collection

I’m going to start off with “Why Skinny Tan?”. Yes, there are much more renowned fake tanning brands out there. But I always end up picking Skinny Tan. I pointed out in my first review of the brand, back when all I owned was the Express Mousse, that I loved the colour, scent and relatively streak free finish of that Skinny Tan Product. As I tried other brands, nothing looked as good or was as easy to apply as Skinny Tan. Eventually, I used up or threw out my other products, leaving only that one. And eventually, I expanded my collection – Skinny Tan by that point was by far my favourite fake tan brand!

The Tanning Diary: St. Moriz Fast Tan

Another day, another fake tanner. It seems all I’m testing right now are fake tans. I won a pile of them in a giveaway, and so I’ve been exploring the possibilities! I’m a big fan of tinted mousses, and I’ve had some great experiences with them (see my comparison of Skinny tan and Solait here). Toady, I reached for the last express/fast tan in my collection, the St/ Moriz Fast Tan!

Fake Tanning: Budget or Blowout – Skinny Tan vs. Solait

Fake Tanning: Budget or Blowout – Skinny Tan …

Today, having spent 2 weeks trying to scrub off a slightly streaky tan, I decided to put two products to the test. I decided to see how my Skinny Tan Express Mousse 1 Hour Tan held up against a cheaper, but nearly identical alternative, Solait Mousse Express Tan Dark. The Solait product was sent to me in the giveaway – I did not choose the colour and have no idea if it comes in a lighter shade. I’ve already tried and tested the Skinny Tan product – read my review of that here.

Review: Skinny Tan Express Mousse 1 Hour Tan

Review: Skinny Tan Express Mousse 1 Hour Tan

I’ve heard good things about Skinny Tan, but I also found some of their claims about their products a little outrageous. Enough fake tans will claim to give you a streak free finish only to leave you bitterly disappointed. This tanner claims to leave you with no orange colouration, and apparently contains natural ingredients which work with the skin, meaning you physically cannot streak it. It also apparently leaves no nasty smells. So I went in skeptical, but more than happy to put it to the test.
