Say My Name with Ineffabless Jewellery

Disclaimer: This post contains a gifted item. All views and opinions are my own.

True story; I once had to go to my letting agent for a copy of my contract to prove my address to the bank. We had a chat whilst he prepared it. It was all very pleasant. As he handed me the copy of my contract, he waved me off with the following:

“Anyway, there you go, Rebecca. Have a nice day!”

You can laugh. But this happens way more than you think. Another true story is that up until 6 days before I was born, my name was actually going to be Rebecca, until my mum changed her mind when almost all of the women in her antenatal class had the same idea. For some reason, people just call me Rebecca. And me, being the polite, anxious, eager to please person I am, have fallen into a great pit of just not correcting them. Short of changing my name to Rebecca and just accepting my fate, I needed a way to make sure people actually call me Rachel, my given name. Enter Ineffabless Jewellery!

Ineffabless is a London based Jewellery brand that specializes in personalized jewellery. Even before I got sick of being called the wrong name, I have obsessed over name necklaces. When done right, they are super cool. I’ve searched for the perfect one for so long, but have found that many places that offer them just don’t have them quite right. I wanted something simple, yet to the point. I don’t need my name blown up to huge proportions, in neon yellow, blazoned across my chest. I need something I can wear with everything, and of course, something pretty yet eye catching. And I think with their huge selection, honestly one of the biggest I’ve ever seen, Ineffabless fits the bill perfectly.

Although it took me some time to really take in the selection of gorgeous designs and narrow down a favourite, my chosen gold name necklace was the perfect choice. I love the double chain design, with the pretty little heart pendant. It’s the perfect size, and makes the perfect accessory. It goes with everything, and is noticeable without being too in your face. Not only is it comfortable to wear, but people love it. Even over Skype, my mum noticed it and had to compliment how pretty it is!

Even the packaging is perfect. The necklace arrived in a big presentation box that is the perfect size to keep the chain from knotting. The box came in a bag, with a little pouch in case you need something smaller to keep the necklace in, and even a little cloth to keep your necklace clean. I’ve genuinely never received an item that included so much to care for it! It’s perfect for making sure your new jewellery looks brand new for as long as you want to keep wearing it!

I’ve yet to find someone who maybe doesn’t know me well enough to call me by the wrong name. But with this beautiful necklace sitting pretty around my neck, the perfect balance of subtle, yet noticeable, I dare the next person who thinks my name is Rebecca to call me so. I can now just raise my eyebrow, gesture to the necklace, and sashay on out of there with a big grin on my face. They’ll be no more of that, thank you very much!

If you’re on the hunt for the perfect, wear-it-with-anything accessory, then you should definitely give Ineffabless a look. They have the biggest selection of personalized necklaces out there, and their customer service is nothing short of fabulous. I’ve really enjoyed working with them, and can’t wait to show my new jewellery to the world. Check out Ineffabless on Instagram here!

That is a seriously stunning necklace, and how unusual to have a double chain. Usually you just get the name and that’s it so it’s lovely to have the heart as well. A proper statement necklace. And how wonderful that you get a bag and cleaning cloth too, that’s proper customer service and attention to detail. Lovely post, Rachel, I shall have to head over to their site for a browse now! x

That necklace is gorgeous! I’ve had a few name necklaces in my life but nothing as pretty as that. I sympathise with prople calling you the wrong name, in school I was often called Emily instead of Emma and I’m too polite to correct people.

Their selection is so good! Ah I feel you! It’s such a pain but far too time consuming to correct them!
