Here at Word of Rachel, I understand privacy is important. Occasionally, I do have to collect data for certain functions of this site to work. Your privacy is very important to me, and I am not in the business of selling the personal information of the users of this site. The privacy policy below lists all occasions and ways in which this site collects data, how it’s used, any limited conditions in which your data may be disclosed to others (very rarely!), and how data is kept secure.

Types of data we collect

Google Analytics

Upon visiting, a third party service, Google Analytics, collects information. This includes standard log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. This allows me to see which areas of my website are performing in certain ways. This data is collected anonymously; I cannot identify individual users by their visiting patterns. I do not make, or allow Google to make, any attempts to find out the identity of visitors to this site.

Mailing Lists

If you wish to sign up for an email follow to this blog, there is an option to join the mailing list on the home page. This collects some personal information, which is used to update you when a new post is published on the blog. This is the only purpose of this email list, and you will not be contacted for anything else. This information is kept private, and will not be traded with other companies.

Word of Rachel does not use any third party services to create mailing lists or send you emails. You may unsubscribe to the blog post email address any time you wish by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of all emails sent by us, or by emailing me directly at
